Where can I get the best advice for beauty treatments?

Here at SKN-RG, we have revolutionary skin care products, such as collagen night cream and skin supplements that will help make your skin look beautiful and youthful.

We invented the world’s first Quanta® Technology more than a decade ago.  Quanta® is unique in that it employs moderate vibration (soundwaves) and succussion to release the active compounds in over 450 different botanicals. As a result, this approach creates the groundwork for amazing energization to address many of today’s problems, resulting in spectacular outcomes. “The SKN-RG Difference” generates collagen, heals damaged tissue, and improves skin firmness for plumper, less-lined skin.

We developed smarter skincare “that is every bit as unique as you” based on pure “nature + science” as we progressed. Skincare that is made entirely of plants. With innovation and creativity, we create rich, effective, and long-lasting products for healthier, stronger skin.

SKN-creators RG’s come up with fresh concepts at their innovation lab on the scenic Essex coast. The SKN-RG Story has influenced a generation of skincare pioneers, who are always pushing the boundaries of what is possible while surrounded by beautiful natural environments.

The core of SKN-RG is a unique family spirit that has been passed down through generations of environmentalists. Our developers have spent years developing effective plant-based, one-of-a-kind formulations. They focus on providing high-quality, effective treatments that give you total skin confidence as part of their concept.

Quanta® is a one-of-a-kind product. Quanta®, our specialised technology, was developed by our founders to give you the most incredible skin regeneration. It’s the first of its kind, and the British government has recognised it for its inventiveness.

What is collagen?

Collagen is found in the bones, muscles, skin, and tendons and is the most abundant protein in the human body. Collagen acts as a scaffold in the body, providing strength and structure. It is a necessary component of connective tissue and is responsible for binding the body’s cells together. It also gives the skin strength and elasticity. Natural collagen produced by the body is known as endogenous collagen. Exogenous collagen is a kind of collagen that is synthesised. It’s derived from a third-party source, such as supplements.

Endogenous collagen serves a variety of purposes. Breakdown and depletion have been related to a variety of health issues, including scurvy. Exogenous collagen is used for aesthetic objectives, such as skin suppleness. It’s also used by doctors in wound-healing procedures.

Collagen is a molecular structure. It’s a fibrous protein that’s tough and insoluble. It attaches cells to one another in various tissues, including the skin, tendons, blood vessels, cartilage, bone, and connective tissue. Collagen is an important part of the extracellular matrix, which is a network of molecules that keeps the body’s tissues together.

The human body has a lot of collagen. Collagen makes up one-third of the protein in the human body and three-quarters of the dry weight of skin, according to some earlier study. There are about 28 distinct forms of collagen, each with its own structure. The majority are made up of fibrils, which are long, thin, strong, and flexible structures.

Collagen gives the skin its strength and suppleness. Collagen levels drop as people age, and collagen fibres grow thinner and weaker. This, according to some experts, may contribute to skin ageing. As a result, collagen is found in many skin care products.

Is collagen cream good for face?

Are you taking proper care of your skin? Collagen might be a vital component you’re lacking.  A cream containing collagen can give you some wonderful results. Collagen works by being absorbed by the skin to reinforce and fortify our skin’s dermal layer—exactly what we need for radiant, young skin.  Using collagen creams for the skin on a daily basis will help your skin thrive. It can aid in the reduction of wrinkles and the maintenance of a smooth, blemish-free appearance.

You care about how your skin looks and feels. You moisturise, exfoliate your face in the morning, and use face masks at night. Do you, however, utilise cream? Applying a cream with collagen as part of your skin care regimen will help you keep the youthful appearance you desire all year, from the harsh winter months to the sweltering summer months. Let’s take a closer look at the advantages of collagen creams and how they may help you achieve attractive, glowing skin with frequent use.

The following are the facts about how utilising collagen on a daily basis may enhance your skin:

Smooth your skin and minimise wrinkles – Because collagen is an important component of the dermis layer of the skin, using a collagen cream can help you in a variety of ways. Collagen has anti-aging properties in general. Collagen is the way to go when it comes to skin tightening. It can smooth out facial wrinkles and make you seem younger by reducing their depth.

Increase skin elasticity and durability – Elasticity is the capacity of your skin to stretch or bounce back when tugged or squeezed. Collagen and elastin are abundant in your skin while you’re young. However, as you get older, your body produces less and less of each protein, which is why you may notice drooping skin in the elderly. Including collagen in your skin care regimen can help you achieve better skin elasticity by boosting the durability of your skin. cream with collagen makes your skin thicker and firmer, preventing it from sagging and stretching in the long run.

Promote skin hydration – Collagen has been demonstrated to enhance skin moisture, making the skin velvety to the touch. For example, a 28 per cent rise in skin moisture levels was seen in one eight-week trial of women aged 40 to 60. In addition, 91 per cent of the participants said they had less dry skin after taking collagen supplements. Dry skin may appear innocuous at first, but if left untreated, it can trigger the onset of eczema symptoms such as cracking, irritation, redness, and itching. Drinking lots of water and applying collagen to your skin will help it retain moisture.

Hide cellulite – Collagen can aid in the smoothing of cellulite by strengthening the dermis layer. Cellulite becomes increasingly noticeable when our skin thins, stretches, and finally sags, all of which are natural ageing processes. However, as previously said, incorporating collagen in your skincare routine will help prevent the formation of noticeable cellulite by increasing skin-collagen expression and improving skin elasticity and thickness.

Combat acne scars and stretch marks – The only thing worse than having acne is having scars left behind. Collagen degradation in your skin is what causes acne scars. Collagen supplementation can speed up collagen production in the skin, resulting in faster tissue regeneration and healing of acne scars. Stretch marks are also subject to the same rules. Collagen formation and content in the skin can help reduce stretch marks and possibly prevent new ones from emerging.

Reduce skin damage caused by UV radiation – Sun rays may be extremely harmful to the skin. Overexposure to UV radiation can cause your skin’s collagen to break down. Because collagen is important for maintaining the general integrity, quality, and resilience of your skin, having it broken down further by UV rays might make us more susceptible to skin illnesses and ailments, notably skin cancer. Fortunately, you may promote healthy collagen levels by restoring collagen that has been damaged by UV rays. So, by taking collagen supplements, you may also be protecting yourself from skin cancer.

Collagen is a crucial component of our skin, muscles, and connective tissue. Collagen is a unique protein that makes up the bulk of our skin (about 70%) as well as 90% of our organic bone mass and connective tissue. While your body creates collagen on its own, the quantity of collagen generated diminishes as we get older. This is when we start to see indicators of ageing, which might range from traditional wrinkling skin to achy joints or cellulite. Despite the creams, masks, and other products we use on a regular basis, we often see ageing in our skin.

Does collagen cream tighten skin?

The short answer is yes. When you buy a cream with collagen that targets loose skin or a product that claims to tighten crepey skin, the effects, if any, are almost always due to ingredients like film-forming agents. Film-forming agents, as the name implies, produce a film on the skin, which can make it “feel” tighter. The effect is temporary, and you won’t notice any noticeable lifting of sagging skin right away, which is why you should use this type of cream on a daily basis.

The key is to increase collagen production. Although collagen does not help crepey skin bounce back, it does support the skin and makes sagging less noticeable. Skincare products containing potent antioxidants and skin-repairing ingredients can aid in the production of collagen.

A sun lotion with an SPF of 30 or higher is also an excellent addition to a collagen cream. Daily sun protection is essential because sun damage destroys elastin and collagen, but how many of us remember to apply sunscreen to our necks as well as our faces every day? One of the main reasons why many people’s necks appear “older” than their faces is because of this.

Topically applied vitamin A, also known as retinol, can improve the shape of the elastin your skin still has; there is even some evidence that it can build elastin. (It can certainly increase collagen production.) Applying a retinol product with collagen every night can be extremely beneficial. Prescription retinoids are the same way.

At SKN-RG, we stock retinol products to complement your night cream. See how we can help your skin today by visiting our shop.
